2 oranges
2 blood oranges
1 red onion
1.25 oz of olives
olive oil
sea salt
black pepper
1 oz of orange juice

Peel the oranges, remove the white peel, and slice horizontally. Place the slices on a serving dish. Wash and peel the onion, and cut it into thin slices. Put the onion slices into a bowl of cold water for 15 minutes. It will reduce the acidity of the onions. Rinse the olives, and leave it in a bowl of water for a few minutes. Get a bowl and add orange juice, olive oil and mix well. Place the onion onto the oranges. Then place the olives. Wash and slice some basil leaves and place on top. Finally, pour the dressing over the whole dish, and put a pinch of sea salt and black pepper.

Cooking Tip

If you find the onion too strong for your stomach, try using a green onion. Try a sweet red or rose wine, or your favorite white wine.
