Rice with Sausage

This recipe has a little of everything, which also means a lot of taste.

2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp olive oil
2 onions
2 smoked sausages
2 tomatoes
1 cup of raw rice
1 cup dry white wine
2 cups of water
2 bell peppers, 1 green and 1 red


Get a deep pan, add oil and butter. Slice the sausage, wash and cut the onion, and add to the pan to sauté. Wash and cut the tomatoes and peppers and add to the pan. Add the rice. Add a pinch of salt and wine, and stir. Add water as needed. Cook for about 25 minutes. When the rice is cooked it will be ready.

Cooking Tip

Watch the water level in the pan. Do not let it go dry. Add a red wine to your table such as Merlot.
