Moqueca de Pescado

This is a saucy recipe. It would make a great fish course for your dinner.

Ingredients

4 large slices of fish
4.25 oz of shrimp
1 onion
2 large tomatoes
2 cloves of garlic
4 tbsp of palm oil
7 oz of coconut milk
black pepper
salt
paprika

Preparation

Season the fish slices with salt and black pepper and place to the side. Wash and chop the onion and garlic. Add palm oil to a deep pan, and sauté the onion and garlic for 2 minutes. Add paprika, tomato and shrimp, and sauté for a few minutes. Then add the fish, and coconut milk, and let cook for 20 minutes.

Cooking Tip

You may want to have a basket of bread on the table, for those who like to dip their bread. Add a white Chardonnay wine to your table.
