Grilled Asparagus

Asparagus is a great vegetable to have on your dinner table, and grilling it is a great way of preparing it. Adding Parmesan cheese gives it that extra taste.

3 bunches of green asparagus
1 piece of Parmesan cheese
6 tbsp of olive oil
black pepper from the mill


Add salt to water and heat. Clean the asparagus, then cook in water for 10 min. Drain them, and cook on a stove top grill or grill frying pan with 1 spoonful of olive oil. Using a cheese grater, make Parmesan chips. When serving, place the asparagus in a dish, sprinkle generously with Parmesan, drizzle with the remaining olive oil, and add pepper to taste.

Cooking Tip

You could also add balsamic vinegar, if it suits your taste. Choose your favorite white wine for this dish.
