Figs with Goat Cheese

This recipe has a lot of Mediterranean flavor, and may bring back some old memories. This would make a great appetizer, for a meal or stand on its own.

4 figs
1.5 oz of goat cheese
2 tsp of honey


Wash and cut the figs in half. Place the pieces in an ovenproof dish. Put the goat cheese on the figs. Drizzle the honey on top. Put it in the oven for 5 minutes.

Cooking Tip

Get fresh green figs for this recipe. Try a sweet port wine when serving this.
