Cheese Pizza

A simple recipe kids can enjoy. With simple toppings, finicky eaters will have no objections. This is a timeless classic.

1 Pizza

60 min

1 pizza dough
1 can (7.5 oz) of tomato sauce
1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
2 oz (20 slices) of pepperoni

Pour the can of sauce in a pot and cover for 20 – 30 minutes, at a medium heat. Stretch out the dough. Place parchment paper on the pan, and position the dough on top. Shred both cheeses. With a spoon, spread the tomato sauce all over the dough. Then sprinkle the cheese. Place the pepperoni one inch apart. Preheat oven for 662F for bake. The pizza needs 20 - 25 minutes to cook. Check the bottom of the pizza; it should be a golden brown. If bottom is cooking too fast, bring it to the top of the oven.

Cooking Tip

If rolling the dough is not possible, you can get a pre-made crust at the store. You may want to get smaller sizes and have your kids help make their own pizza.
