Caldeiro Veal

This is a simple dish from Spain, for a main course. Very simple, composed of meat and potatoes, sure to satisfy anyone with a big appetite.

3.5 lb of veal skirt
1.5 lb of potatoes
2 green peppers
2.7 oz of garlic
Pinch of paprika
Pinch of coarse salt


Cut the meat into pieces about 7 oz in size, and place it into large pot with water and a little salt. Add diced garlic and peppers, and let it cook slowly. When the meat is almost cooked, add the chopped potatoes, and let them boil until they are cooked. Remove the meat and potatoes from the pot onto the serving dish, sprinkle with paprika and a little coarse salt.

Pair your meal with a Pinot Noir wine.
